The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) and local law enforcement are warning the community about resurfaced, evolving phone scams. In the most recent round of these scams, the caller is identifying himself as current member of MCSO, telling the victim they have missed jury duty, and there is a warrant for their arrest. They tell victims to send money, purchase pre-paid gift cards, or bring payment to our office located in Portland. The phone number that appears when they call is being spoo
