Week two match-ups of the 2026 NFL divisional playoffs are now set after an exciting wild-card round. Highlights from the weekend include a banged-up San Francisco 49ers besting defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles 23-19. The 49s lost star tight-end George Kittle to an Achilles injury but still managed to hang on.

The No. 1 seed in the AFC will be decided on Sunday. The Broncos will be hosting the Chargers at 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS and if they win that game, they'll clinch the top seed. However, if the Broncos lose, the Patriots could sneak in and steal the top seed by beating the Dolphins.

Week 17 is in the books for the NFL, and while some teams helped their playoff hopes, two divisions will come down to the final game in Week 18 after key losses.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes says he's aiming to be ready for week one of the 2026 NFL season after knee surgery in December."I want to be ready for week one," he said, looking toward a 2026 campaign that will start on September 10.
